Notes on Christmas Wreaths

I first started making Christmas Wreaths when I was about 16.

I set up a market stall in St. Nicholas’ Church market in Galway, foraging, collecting and creating something from fallen branches, using mostly holly, noble fir, birch and a nice red ribbon to finish it off.

I guess not much has changed… Myself and the team have spent the last month gathering and foraging, creating beautiful wreaths for your doors. Each one is made by hand using mostly Irish grown foliage, and built upon a reusable base made of birch, willow and cornus - no floral foam is used, making it as sustainable as can be.

Custom Wreaths

Get in touch or pop into the shop if you have something different in mind for your own wreath - we would love to create it custom for you, and help you pick out the perfect colour of ribbon to adorn it with.

If you already have a wreath base from last year, feel free to drop it back to us so we can recreate some magic for you.

Shop hours are: Monday to Saturday 10am - 6pm, and Sunday 12pm - 6pm.

Wreath School

Learn how to create your own wreath at our annual wreath making workshop at the Fumbally Stables, hosted by Mark. All materials will be provided, as well as mince pies and a glass of prosecco. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have your own dream wreath to take home.

Wreath School 1: December 8th at 7pm in Fumbally Stables

Wreath School 2: December 12th at 2pm in Fumbally Stables

Finally...

As 2021 begins to draw to a close, I want to thank everyone who has supported The Garden throughout another unpredictable year.

Your support has meant, and still means so much.
